The Heart of Africa 非洲之心 - - Ghosts of Rwanda 人之初

 从卢旺达回来，慢慢的我才能从麻木中苏醒。照片可以看，录像可以看，可是没有什么让我对站在死尸的当中，腐烂的气味作了准备。卢旺达改变了我，也许我不希望这么被改变。回来后听到最多的不是人怎么会做出这种事，而是 “黑人是不是就是笨？” 或者“黑人怎么跟动物似的？”听得毛骨悚然，种族歧视引起的屠杀，但种族歧视在我们中确是如此的普遍、平常。这种屠杀，在世界上任何一个地方都曾有过。我唯一的问题，作为人类，我们得到了怎样的教训？

I have this terrible feeling that if some outfit wanted to go and slaughter those 300-odd gorillas, that today people would react with far more consternation than they would if they started killing thousands of black Africans, Rwandans, in the same country.
