complaint to the Black Angus Stake House company. I simply said what
happened, what was wrong and what they could do to fix it.

To Whom It May Concern:
On 12/20/01 I went to dinner with my friends at Black Angus in "XXXXXXX". I
have always enjoyed Black Angus because of your great Prim Ribs, and have
brought three of my friends for that purpose. I ordered rare.
Unfortunately, the meat that came to my table appeared to be near well done.
I informed the waitress and she was very kind to bring me another “cut”.
However, it had the same appearance on the outside. When I cut into it,
despite the well-done appearance on the outside, the meat inside was near
raw on one end and near well done on the other. I had finally reached the
conclusion that the first slice has been sitting under the heat lamp, and
the second was heated somehow in boiling water. Before this time the prim
rib seemed to be fresh cut and roasted together not in slices. Needless to
say we did not have the appetite to finish our dinners.
To resolve the problem, I would appreciate it if you could refund the prim
rib that we ordered, and possibly make the customer aware of the status of
the Prim Rib, instead of cooking them piece by piece, when it is not ready.
I look forward to your reply with a resolution, and will wait until June
before seeking help from another agency or Bureau. Please contact me at the

I have not encountered similar problems before when I dined at your
restaurant in Monrovia. I would certainly like to continue to dine in your
restaurant with the knowledge I would not be served anything raw.
