Welcome to my Homepage,
I am a graduate student at Princeton University who expects to
complete my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering by June 2008, under the
supervision of Professor Margaret Martonosi.
Here you will find information about myself, my work, and my
professional interests.
My research interests are in Embedded Systems and Mobile Sensor
Networks. More specifically, I am interested in solving the problems
of variation and uncertainty in sparse mobile networks. As part of
my dissertation, “Dynamic Management of Sparse Mobile Systems with
Intermittent Connectivity”, I developed the ZebraNet system, a
hardware/software sensor system dedicated to sparse mobile networks.
This system, through delay-tolerant collaborations, offers efficient
services such as energy adaptation and GPS-less localization,
ensuring that energy usage is minimized and parameter accuracy
maximized.
Besides research, I immensely enjoy teaching and have obtained
extensive experience in that respect. Throughout my graduate career
as well as my time as a Caltech undergraduate, I have worked as a
teaching assistant for 10 courses, Head TA in 4 instances. In 2005,
I received the Princeton Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award.
Furthermore, all the courses I have TA-ed had a significant hands-on
project portion, in which I worked closely with every single student
to help them not only understand the theory, but also bring the
theory to reality.
